Dr. Debi Thomas has a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas, and there are not many subjects in which she is not well versed. There are many things she wished she knew "then" (back in her teens and early 20s when choosing a career) that she knows NOW. Often it is necessary, to learn from both positive and negative experiences, but Dr. Thomas has learned that she prefers that when it comes to negative experiences, it is better to learn from other people's adversity than your own if possible. Dr. Thomas has mentored many people over the years to achieve success when they were open to her knowledge and expertise and were "teachable". Dr. Thomas will be honest and help you weigh the pros and cons of various career choices, and if she feels that you are choosing a career about which she does not have much knowledge or insight, she will help you do extensive and diligent research in order to make an informed decision.
